Objectives

Intended Outcomes of Project

  • To develop a business plan for a self-financing, sustainable, and scalable Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) and sanitation value chain for Blantyre City.

  • Identify and structure the financing mechanism for the selected service delivery model

​

  • To propose a fit for purpose institutional set-up and implementation modalities among

  • the relevant stakeholders including planning and delivery of services as well asaccountability

​

  • To develop a preliminary design of the required FSM infrastructure andimplementation roadmap to propose upgrading of existing FSM structures
