William has over 20 years of international business development experience. Having started his career as an accountant in the oil industry in 2001, moved to Malawi in 2008 to get involved with small and medium enterprise development. He co-founded the Crown Stewardship School in 2011, an internationally sought-after training center which is locally sustainable through the sale of Honey, Cheese and Moringa. In 2015 he took on the Country Director position at WASTE Advisers where they develop sustainable solutions for waste management. During this time WASTE has grown to be the leader in waste management initiatives in Malawi.
Elizabeth Dymock

Project Manager
​Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science from the University of Melbourne, and a Masters of International Relations with a Master of International Trade and Commerce Law. She has strengths in community engagement, facilitation, and policy development. She is passionate about leadership and development and enjoys helping communities find sustainable solutions to waste and climate issues. Originally from Australia, Elizabeth moved to Malawi to join the WASTE Advisers team.
Stellah Jere

She is proactive in increasing community engagement on climate change and disaster risk reduction .Demonstrated abilities in Increasing smallholder farmers adoption of climate smart agriculture practices.
Chisomo Mbedza
Finance Officer
​Chisomo is a self-motivated, creative, result and team-oriented with extensive knowledge of manufacturing industry and Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) accounting and financial controlling. She joined WASTE Advisers in 2015, and oversees provision of financial, administrative and logistical support to various programs and execution of project and office activities in accordance with the organization’s set policies. Those who has mistaken her gentleness as an opportunity to take shortcuts on financial policies will not do it twice.
Wilfred Maluwa
Office Manager
​Wilfried specialized in the provision of general administrative functions in efficient and timely action on administrative and finance matters. His position includes oversight of procurement and human resource management. With particular expert knowledge and experience in coaching employees, initiating and managing change and organization development processes, developing and delivering integrated HR solutions including compensation and benefits policies and systems and employee relations that drive employee. His effervecent personality is contagious and he naturally develops a positive organisational culture.
John Chome

John is a development professional with over 25 years of practical experience in urban management and the human settlements sector including local government; city management; participatory slum upgrading; urban planning; land administration; housing; water, sanitation and hygiene; disaster risk management; resilience; climate change; public policy; project management including budgeting, monitoring and evaluation; environmental and social impact assessment and resource mobilisation. Worked at senior management levels in central government, local authorities and in the United Nations.
Experience in working in and with communities, NGOs, universities, local authorities and Government ministries, departments and agencies.
Idrissa Nkwanda

Project Manager
Idrissa is an accomplished project manager with over 6 years of working experience in rural development and environmental management. His experience include water, sanitation, hygiene, nutrition and livelihoods security, environmental management, agriculture, and climate change mitigation. I have advanced skills in project planning, implementation and monitoring, and resource mobilization including proposal development and budgeting.
Mada Kanache
B.Sc. in Environmental Management
Project Officer
Madalitso Kanache is a holder of Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Health and a Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation, all from the University of Malawi. He has joined the WASTE Advisers on numerous research project and consultancies and is currently the Project Officer for Blantyre and Chikwawa. Between all of that he is studying towards a Master of Science in Environmental Health with the University of Malawi. Madalitso has vast experience in Water Sanitation and Hygiene, Project Management, Community Health, Research and Data analysis. He is a tenacious driver who combines a desire for research for great execution capacity.
Khumbo Butao

He is an advocate for waste recycling, circular economy and sustainable waste management related initiatives. Includes training the BCC officials and community at large on waste management, monitoring waste separation from source, transportation and treatment. Also focused on strengthening working relationship between the local government and private sector in the waste value chain. Eager to learn more and establish a sustainable enabling environment.
Levison Saidi
Trainer & Facilitator
Levison started his career as an entrepreneur, trading commodities for local farmers before he went into administration for a business development consultancy. There he was trained in monitoring and pass the diploma program with distinction. Beyond excelling in practical skills, it was his integrity and industriousness which earned him a position on the team. He is being growed is Malawi's first Mirco-MBA trainer.
